Description
The Plassey jacket is cut from a handwoven cotton-silk Tanchoi weave developed in Varanasi (Benares). Inspired by antique Victorian military dress and cross-cultural ceremonial garments, it features a stand collar, ornamental frog fastening, and false flap welt pockets.
The jacket is finished with tailored internal construction. Designed to fit true to size.
Care
To best preserve its longevity we recommend dry cleaning.
As this garment is crafted from silk, we recommend gentle steaming instead of ironing. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place to preserve the fabric's colour, texture, and integrity.
